How I Charge for What I Do
My services are provided on a fixed fee basis, retainer basis, hourly basis, and on a basis that provides lower cost at the outset with a higher return upon successful completion.
- Assisting an investor by conducting legal – and business – due diligence on a company in the retail services sector
- Preparing a standard form contract for sales and installation of solar panels in the residential context
- Reviewing, and then changing, a client’s contract dispute strategy, the revised strategy saved the client >$300,000
- Assisting a charitable institution with both the legal and strategic elements of its transition to a corporate structure and the purchase of new premises
- Guiding an alternative fuel manufacturer with proprietary technology through an international patenting strategy, including engaging local and international special counsel, resulting in dozens of new patents
- A multi-million dollar Ontario private placement
